History

CHUDCHUD Industries was founded by Cody Diefenthaler as a means to create and distribute different forms of media to the Tallahassee community. Originally used as an outlet for alt/radical/DIY books, zines, CDs, tapes, vinyl and other media, CHUDCHUD Industries soon began promoting and producing shows, concerts, events, and festivals related to the DIY culture of the Southeast United States.

With the arrival of Cody's son into the world, the direction of CHUDCHUD Industries changed to focus on the digital platforms of media. The first game title to be released commercially was Spellvetica for iOS and Android, a minor success for what it is, word puzzle game for mobile devices. With the first release in the bag, next came a project more true to aesthetic roots. CONSENT! an interactive role-play zine was created for a Sex, Etc. game design competition. This project was the first step to reconsiling the punk with the digital. Expect future releases to do the same.
